Terms and Conditions for the FREE WordPress Website Development Offer

  1. Eligibility
    • This offer is available exclusively to businesses located in Canada.
    • Participants must provide accurate business details during sign-up.
  2. Scope of Offer
    • The offer includes the design and development of a basic WordPress website for the following pages:
      • Home
      • About us
      • Services Page
      • Contact Us
      • Privacy Page
    • Features included: custom design, mobile-responsive layout, essential website functionalities (e.g., contact forms, image galleries).
    • The client will have full ownership of the completed website.
  3. Exclusions
    • The offer does not cover hosting, domain name registration, premium plugins or themes, and ongoing maintenance. These services can be availed at additional costs.
    • E-commerce functionality or additional customizations beyond the initial scope may incur extra charges.
  4. Client-Provided Assets
    • The client is responsible for providing all necessary website assets, including but not limited to:
      • Copy (text content for the website)
      • Images and graphics
      • Premium fonts, if required
      • Premium themes, if desired
    • Failure to provide these assets in a timely manner may delay the project timeline.
  5. Mockups and Revisions
    • The client will receive one initial mockup of the website design.
    • The offer includes five minor revisions to the initial mockup. Minor revisions include small changes to design elements such as text, images, or colors.
    • Final mockup may not resemble the actual website upon completion due to design and development adjustments that may occur during the development process.
    • Any additional mockups or revisions beyond the five minor revisions will incur a fee of $50 per mockup or revision.
  6. Live Website Revisions
    • The offer includes five minor revisions to the live website after it has been launched. These revisions must be claimed within 15 days of the website's launch.
    • After the 15-day period, any additional changes or revisions will be subject to additional charges.
  7. Link to Digital Fillip
    • A link to digitalfillip.com will be added to the footer of the website.
    • This link cannot be removed unless the website undergoes a complete revamp or redesign.
  8. Testimonial Requirement
    • A testimonial in any format (video, audio, or text) is required to be provided by the client before the website is launched.
    • The testimonial should reflect the client's experience with Digital Fillip and the website development process.
  9. Portfolio and Case Study Usage
    • Digital Fillip reserves the right to use the completed website as part of its portfolio or case studies.
    • The website may be showcased on Digital Fillip’s website and social media platforms to highlight the company’s work.
  10. Timelines
    • Project timelines will be mutually agreed upon after the consultation stage. Delays caused by the client’s lack of response or incomplete information may affect delivery.
  11. Client Responsibilities
    • Clients must provide branding assets (e.g., logos, color schemes) and other required materials promptly.
    • Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving the design drafts in a timely manner.
  12. Non-Transferable
    • This offer is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for monetary compensation or other services.
  13. Termination of Offer
    • Digital Fillip reserves the right to terminate or modify the offer at any time without prior notice.
    • Digital Fillip may cancel a project if the client fails to comply with the agreed terms or demonstrates unprofessional conduct.
  14. Post-Completion Support
    • After project completion, basic training or guidance on website usage will be provided via PDF file.
    • Additional support or updates will be billed separately.
  15. Ownership and Intellectual Property
    • Upon final delivery, the client will retain full ownership of the website and its contents.
    • Any pre-installed plugins or software provided by Digital Fillip under this offer will remain licensed under their respective terms.
  16. Limitation of Liability
    • Digital Fillip is not responsible for third-party hosting or domain issues.
    • While all efforts will be made to ensure a secure and optimized website, Digital Fillip is not liable for any external security breaches or downtimes post-delivery.
  17. Acceptance of Terms
    • By signing up for this offer, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
